The 24th Busan Independent Film Festival kicked off yesterday, starting its four-day run.
A total of 50 films will be screened in 14 sections including the competition section “Made in Busan”.
Director Park Ji-sun’s documentary “The Witch’s Carnival” was selected for this year’s opening film.
“The Witch’s Carnival” contains the stories and lives of Busan women of all ages who push back against discrimination and violence.
