The winning artworks from the 44th Grand Art Exhibition of Busan will be exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan until December 25th.
The Grand Art Exhibition of Busan, hosted by the Busan city and the Busan Fine Arts Association, is the biggest art contest across the nation. Since its opening in 1975, it has been contributing to the prosperity of local art culture every year by discovering creative and talented new local artists.
For this year’s competition, awards have been given out to the winners after they were screened through the preliminary rounds in all different fields of art including Korean painting, western painting, watercolor, prints, sculptures and crafts in September.
The award ceremony will take place at the Museum of contemporary art Busan on December 12th at 3pm.
