Private kindergartens across the country will close this Thursday in demand of more financial support from the government.
In Busan, some 300 private kindergartens will shut down and hold a teacher-parent meeting in Seoul.
The Korea Kindergarten Association has called on the government to expand the financial support for private institutions, which only get a third of the support that public institutions get.
