Busan Destinations: Songdo Beach Walking Tour

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Songdo Beach to check out the extraordinary sites around the popular tourist area.

Chosen as part of 2019-2020 “100 Must-Visit Tourist Spots of Korea”, Songdo offers great history and is not without its charms.

Officially Korea’s first beach (as of 1913), Songdo has re-emerged as a must-stop on local tours. Song-do, which translates into Pine Island, was given its name due to the lush pine trees adorning the outskirts of the beach.

Located just three kilometers from Nampo-dong, Song-do offers a romantic backdrop for couples looking for some peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The free walking tour takes place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Sign-up information is below.
