Busan Roundtable Shares Candid Stories From the City’s Global Residents

BeFM is introducing a special edition of Busan Roundtable, bringing together international residents to share their experiences of living in Busan.

Produced as part of the Busan Regional Broadcasting Development Support Project, the program’s tourism edition features candid and lighthearted conversations with global residents who chose to make Busan their home.

The discussion explores why they selected Busan over other cities in Korea and what has kept them here, from the city’s coastal lifestyle and food scene to its people and everyday atmosphere.

Rather than presenting Busan solely from a visitor’s perspective, the program looks at the city through the experiences of people who have actually settled here, offering personal stories about adjusting to life in Busan and discovering what makes the city distinctive.

Busan Roundtable is presented by BeFM and focuses on the experiences and perspectives of Busan’s international community.

This episode’s guests include Haps Publisher Jeff Liebsch, former BFIC General Secretary Alok Roy, former Shilla University professor Mary O’Neill, and travel writer and professor Chris Tharp.
