Busan to Invest Over 200 Billion Won Into Start-ups

The city of Busan is investing 205.6 billion won this year to turn Busan into Asia’s number 1 startup city.
Key strategies include expanding the start-up infrastructure at each base; advancing programs that produce unicorn startup companies, and building a financial support ecosystem to help startups overcome the so-called “valley of death”.
In addition, the city will focus on creating an e-commerce startup ecosystem and building its knowledge service industries.
