The last old train cars on Busan Metro Line 1 will end service on August 26.
Train set No. 45 has been in service for 29 years since 1997, traveling about 3 million kilometers — the equivalent of circling the Earth 75 times.
With its retirement, the replacement of all old train cars on Line 1 will be complete.
Line 1 will now operate entirely with new-generation trains.
