[su_heading size=”20″]The 2015 Seoul Motor Show opens to the public Friday and offers a wide array of cars for just about every fan.[/su_heading]
Swarms of car lovers, and of course the models, are set to hit the 2015 Seoul Motor Show which gets underway tomorrow for a 12-day run at KINTEX in Ilsan, north of Seoul.
The bi-annual event, which moves back to the capital region this year after last year’s show in Busan, opens with its annual press day on Thursday before opening to the general public on Friday and runs through April 12th.
Tickets for the event cost 10,000 won for adults and 7,000 won for students and senior citizen’s.
Organizers said the show, now in its 10th year, will feature the biggest lineup yet with seven world premieres and 41 cars being shown for the first time in Korea.
A total of 350 models will be showcased at the show including 32 foreign and domestic automakers. Seven world premieres, and nine models are to be unveiled for the first time in Asia and 41 for the first time in Korea.
Over 160,000 advanced tickets have already been booked for the event, which plans to be the biggest the country has even seen. Last year’s event in Busan saw 1,151,000 visitors, the most in the show’s history.
The event opens weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
