Wordz Only is a night of spoken word awesomeness, so hopefully you'll enjoy it.
If you have poems, fiction, non-fiction, limericks, pantoums, raps or rhymes then bring them on down.
First-timers, old-timers, slammers, ALL WELCOME.
The night works like this:
all those wishing to read/share/say/perform should show up by 8:30 & throw their name into the silver lunch box. The first performer is drawn from the box. When the first person finishes, he or she draws the second person--& this process continues througout the night. Ideally, performers should limit their reading time to 7 to 10 minutes, mostly because we've had more and more people comfortable with reading and we want everyone to have a chance; but the time is flexible, especially if you can hold the audience's attention in a hailstorm.
BUSAN, South Korea -- The official poster of 18th Busan International Film Festival was revealed yesterday, with the poster based on the original work of Shin Sung Hy, created by the artist's signature technique called nouage. A 3-dimensional space created, by the interweaving of dots, lines and gaps, resonates with the idea of film as a complex media that incorporates diverse genres and art forms. Each intersection of lines resembles numerous encounters between cineastes and the audience within the Festival environment. The 18th Busan International Film Festival poster is considered the brightest of all its preceding posters and reflects Busan International Film Festival's focus on hosting a truly festive event.
