BUSAN, South Korea -- Korean superstar Psy was in town Tuesday night to pay homage to basketball legend and childhood friend Seo Jang-hoon, as he played his last game in an amazing career which spanned 15 years, finishing as arguably the greatest basketball player the country has ever seen.
Psy sat courtside during the game, which KT won 84-79, and also participated in a pregame ceremony to congratulate the 39-year-old Seo. He opened the pregame activities with an unsuccessful free throw attempt to the delight of the 7,000 fans in attendance, as well as stayed to watch the touching tribute after the game to honor his friend.
ULSAN, South Korea - Naturalized Korean citizen Moon Tae-young, also known as Greg Stevenson, will be moving to the Ulsan Mobis Phoebus next season.
Moon played for three years with LG, after being drafted in the naturalized Korean draft three years ago. Moon, along with Jeon Tae-poong and Eric Sandrin all had to move squads this year as per league rules. Moon went from KCC to Goyang, while Sandrin moved to league runners-up Wonju Dongmu Promy.
Moon averaged 18 points and 6.3 rebounds this year for seventh place LG.
KT was ineligible for a draft signing after separating ties with guard Chris Vann two years ago.
