DIA Festival in Busan 2019 Begins August 9th

CJ ENM, which has been supporting solo creators through its DIA TV program, will co-host DIA Festival 2019 in Busan with BEXCO from August 9th to 11th this year in BEXCO’s Halls 1 and 2A.

In its first three years, the festival was held in Seoul on a two-day schedule. Starting this year, however, it will be held in Busan on an extended three-day schedule to increase its accessibility to fans and the public.

The festival, which was first held at the COEX in 2016 and concluded its time in Seoul with a highly successful event at Gocheok Sky Dome last year, has so far attracted a total of 60 brands, 113,000 visitors, and over 400 teams of creators from Korea and abroad, gaining a strong reputation as a convention that satisfies spectators, creators, and businesses alike.

Celebrating its fourth run in 2019, the DIA Festival will expand its scope of attention from creators to online and offline commerce, encouraging fans and participating businesses to experience the multichannel network business model.

Some YouTube celebrities, including Daedoseogwan, Yumdaeng, Park Mak-rye, and Bogyeom, have already confirmed their plans to attend and meet their fans at the festival.

In addition to the main stage, which is reserved for events with large audiences, four more stages will be set up to cater to four different subjects of interest (games, food, style, and kids), featuring a wide range of creative works.
