A quick response from the U-dong 119 Rescue Team in Haeundae saved a suicidal woman from jumping off a bridge in Suyeong-gu.
Emergency responders arrived in two minutes after the woman called 119 and reported she was going to jump off the Suyeong Bridge at 6:06 a.m. yesterday morning.
Three rescuers quickly grabbed the 26-year-old female who was about halfway over the bridge’s fence and pulled her back to safety.
The woman suffered minor abrasions in the incident and was returned home to her family after a police investigation.
According to a police report, the woman suffered from depression due to her mother’s illness and was under the influence of alcohol.
