Eat Like a Local: Beer Shop Provides Great Food and Drink in Jeonpo-dong

For lovers of beer and good food, Beer Shop, the brainchild of British expat Andy Green and his wife Juhee have been providing amazing dishes and quality drinks since opening its tap house in December of 2021.

Located a bit off the beaten path in the back road mazes of Jeonpo-dong, Beer Shop is well worth the effort if you’re in the mood for something unique in the city.

And if you’re a fan of pastrami, you’re in for a treat.

While some local restaurants have tried to recreate the Romanian special meat, Beer Shop cures its own for two weeks resulting in an authentic mouthwatering, succulent deli meat that is easily one of the best the city has to offer.

They’ve also added a unique spin on the local ramyeon by adding bits of pastrami, green onions, and a hard-boiled egg to spice up a traditional Korean favorite snack.

With a wide variety of craft beer and spirits available, there is plenty to satisfy everyone while the service is stellar and friendly to boot.

When the warmer weather returns, you can also enjoy your time at the spacious outdoor terrace in the back to enjoy your meal and beverages.

If you are looking for something different, Beer Shop is a great place to check out for an afternoon or evening pint.
