Finnish aalto — Finnish Design and Contemporary Exhibition Begins

Finnish aalto, an exhibition featuring designs from Finland, got underway last Friday at the Busan Museum of Art.

The Contemporary Art section features the works of 11 prominent Finnish contemporary artists including the media artist duo IC98 as well as Anna Retulainen, Anna Tuori, Elina Brotherus, Kaarina Kaikkonen, Kari Cavén, Matti Kujasalo, Pentti Sammallahti, Riitta Päiväläinen, Sanna Kannisto, and Tarja Pitkänen-Walter.

A wide variety of works ranging from paintings, photographs, media art, installation art and crafts presenting the quintessential contemporary art of Finland are on display.
