The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) has undergone reorganization in the New Year.
The BIFF Organizing Committee has said that it has appointed new people for four positions including the Deputy Chairperson, senior programmer, and the executive secretary.
Kim Bok-geun, the CEO of the CAC entertainment film and a former film producer has been appointed to as the new deputy chairperson.
Nam Dong-chul, the current programmer of Korean films has been appointed as the senior programmer.
Programmer Nam worked as an editor of the film magazine ‘Cine 21’ and began working for the film festival organization as the chief of the BIFF’s Asian film market in 2009.
