Shoppers at 99 traditional markets across Busan can receive up to 20,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates during a two-day promotion on September 11 and 12.
Customers who spend at least 40,000 won at participating stores will receive 10,000 won in paper Onnuri gift certificates, while purchases of 70,000 won or more qualify for 20,000 won back.
The maximum refund is 20,000 won per person during the promotion. Receipts from multiple participating stores within the same market can be combined, but purchases made at different markets cannot.
The offer covers a broad range of purchases, including agricultural, livestock and seafood products, as well as food from participating restaurants. Eligible stores will display promotional stickers.
Customers must bring their card or cash receipts to one of 85 refund locations operating across the participating markets. Most will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., although hours may vary by market.
Gift certificates are available in limited quantities, and the promotion at individual markets may end early if supplies run out.
