Haeundae-gu to Designate ASEAN-ro Street

A special road will be made in Haeundae-gu to commemorate the hosting of “Korea-ASEAN Special Summit” in Busan next month.

Haeundae-gu regional office announced yesterday that it will name the 1km section from the intersection of Haeundae Cultural Center in Jwa-dong to the underground road intersection in front of ASEAN Cultural Center as “ASEAN-ro” from the 1st of next month.

The name can be kept for 5 years until October 31, 2024, under the Road Name Address Act.

The length of keeping the name can be renewed at request, 5 years at a time.
