A high school student drove a rental car crashed into a city bus after refusing to get a sobriety test from traffic police.
According to Yeongdo Police Station, a rental car driven by a high school student hit a parked car on a winding road in front of a shopping mall near Taejongdae Park in Yeongdo-gu, Busan at around 12:10 a.m. yesterday.
It then crossed over to the other side of the road and into an oncoming bus.
The driver, his friend, and the bus driver are being treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
The police drew a blood sample from the driver to determine his blood-alcohol level.
They also said the high school student did possess a driver’s license and are investigating the accident based on the vehicle’s dash-cam and CCTVs on the roads as the student is refusing to comply.
