Jisan Rock Festival Canceled Three Days Before It’s Set to Begin

The 2019 Jisan Rock Festival has been canceled, three days before it was scheduled to begin.

Scheduled to be held from July 26-28 at Jisan Forest Resort in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province under a new brand, the new organizers D2GC decided to pull the plug.

It’s said that they notified the bands scheduled to perform earlier in the morning.

The company said in a statement that it canceled the event due to poor ticket sales, the inability to secure top talent from overseas and unable to prepare a proper festival atmosphere.

Global Interpark has also announced that the event is canceled on their ticket website.

The company said that full refunds would be possible.

The rock festival looked to take on a new look this year, as the Jisan Valley Rock Festival was previously stopped by CJ ENM.
