Korea International Marine Leisure Week 2019 Begins Today


The 7th Korea International Marine Leisure Week will be held for a week starting today on Songjeong, Songdo and Gwangalli beaches and at the Suyeong-man Yachting Center.

The event is hosted by the City of Busan and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries where people can enjoy surfing, kayaking, and rafting, along with entertainment events like cultural performances.

There will be other events such as the international rowing competition, international marine conference and beachside film screening.

The opening ceremony will be this Saturday at 7 pm on Songjeong beach, attended by Mayor Oh Keo-don, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Moon Seong-hyeok, and other officials of the marine leisure industry.
