Large Demonstration to be Held at Busan Station This Saturday

Citizens from Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang province will gather at Busan Station to hold a massive rally calling for the construction of the Southeast Gateway Airport.

Two major civic groups that concern for the new Dongnam regional gateway airport will stage a mass rally in front of Busan Station on the 7th.

The organizer of the rally said more than 3,000 citizens from Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam will gather to tell the government of the need for a gateway airport in the southeast area and to quickly start construction for it.

The rally will be followed by the opening declaration, a demonstration against the noise and dangers of the Gimhae Airport, joint cheerleading performance of the Lotte Giants and Gyeongnam NC Dinos baseball teams, and reading the appeals among others.
