LCT’s Commercial Facilities Likely Not Ready Until Next June

A special committee on administrative affairs for citizen-centered city development conducted a witness investigation this week at Busan City Council on the progress of the LCT and Osiria Tourism Complex development projects.

The committee found issues with the informal nature of the Traffic Impact Assessment and Traffic Demand Prediction Survey on LCTand asked about the poor construction of the residential and commercial facilities as well as the concept facility.

An LCT official explained that the tourism concept facility only recently finished its plans as it will open with commercial facilities next June to attract tourists.

Meanwhile, Busan’s former mayors Seo Byung-soo and Heo Nam-shik did not attend the investigation, citing personal reasons.

The LCT Towers are predicted to be finished around November of this year, though many of its commercial facilities are facing difficulty in attracting buyers according to local business leaders with knowledge of the situation.
