The one-month-long annual rainy season begins today with the southern region expected to get heavy rainfall this week.
Heavy rain is expected in Busan from tonight through dawn tomorrow, with anywhere from 5mm to 40mm, and possibly up to 70mm in some areas.
Heavy rains are also expected to last into next week.
Along with the rain, warm temperatures and high humidity are also forecast for the next week.
