Sajik Stadium Open to the Public for Korea vs. Algeria WC Showdown

Sajik Stadium in Busan will be open on the morning of June 23rd for Korea’s second match against Algeria at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

An official with the city of Busan said it didn’t open the baseball park during the first game with Russia on the 18th because of the mourning period after the Sewol Ferry ccident. However, the city has decided to open the stadium from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. for the match against Algeria. There’s no admission fee to watch the match.

The Haeundae-gu office also intends to screen the game on a large-scale screen at Haeundae Beach to provide another place to cheer the Korean national soccer team.
