U.S. fast casual dining restaurant chain Shake Shack looks set to debut next month in Busan.
While rumors of the impending opening have been swirling around local media since November 2018, it appears imminent that the opening is near.
The new location in Busan will be at Seomyeon Fiesta and will open next month, though a specific date has not yet been confirmed.
Shake Shack hasn’t released any information on their website in Korea or on their social media channels as of yet, however, their website does show that the company is hiring staff for the Busan location.
The New York-based burger brand has partnered with South Korean food giant SPC, which controls Paris Baguette bakery chain.
Shake Shack originated from New York City in 2000 and has become one of the fastest growing food chains in the U.S.
The company prides itself with using 100% pure all-natural high-quality Angus beef only in their Burgers, emphasizing that its meat is completely free of hormones and antibiotics.
