The 2026 Songdo Paper Boat Race will take place on August 8 and 9 at Songdo Beach, with teams competing in handmade paper boats along the beachfront near the Songdo Leisure Sports Center.
Participants will build their own boats before racing them in the water. Each session runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with registration, boat building, races, an awards ceremony, and a beach cleanup included in the day’s schedule.
Teams are limited to 10 per day, with up to three people per team. The entry fee is 10,000 won.
