Suyeong-gu Looks to Make Gwangan Beach More Enjoyable During Winter

Busan Suyeong-gu announced yesterday that it will make Gwangalli Beach enjoyable even in the winter.

To celebrate the New Year, the regional office said it will carry out an environmental improvement project.

The 2020 Hope Tower for residents will be erected on the beach on the 13th.

Residents and visitors can write their wishes on a card and then hang them on the tower.

The wish cards will then be burned in February for the Daljip burning event to bid farewell of the year 2019 and to welcome the new year.

The sandy beach of Gwangalli will also have a logo installed which can be used as photo zones for visitors.

Beach beds will be installed on both sides of the reed parasols and two beach swings will be installed to help visitors enjoy the winter seas.
