Taiwan’s Manic Sheep Performing this Friday at Someday

Hailing from Taiwan, shoegazing noise-pop band Manic Sheep will be performing in Busan on Friday, August 24 while on tour through Asia.

Manic Sheep first formed in Taipei in 2010 and quickly carved out a niche for themselves playing a diverse blend of genres including shoegaze and noise-pop. On the strength of their debut album, 2012’s eponymous “Manic Sheep” and its follow-up, 2016’s “Brooklyn,” the band has toured with indie luminaries KYTE (UK) in 2012, The Album Leaf (US) in 2014, Neon Indian (US) in 2015 and has appeared at festivals such as SXSW (US), NXNE (Canada), CMF (Canada), Clockenflap (HK), Fujirock (JP), and MPF (TW).

They’ll be making their first appearance in South Korea as invitees of Highjinkx’s Focus Asia project.

Catch them at SOMEDAY Friday, August 24 at 8:30pm. Tickets are 10,000 in advance and 15,000 at the door.

They’ll be joined by Busan’s own surf/indie heroes Say Sue Me and eclectic “Oriental” groove rockers The Magus.
