Busan English Theatre Association and HQ Gwangan present BETA’s first Ten Minute One Act Festival.
The pandemic has put a halt to most theater performances around the world, so full BETA productions are on hiatus until it is safe to return to theaters. As a result, they are putting together a festival of original one-act plays.
Because they are still mindful of social distancing, performers will have the choice of either performing on stage at HQ Gwangan or submitting a video. Live plays and videos will be shown at HQ Gwangan on August 9th, and those wishing to stay home will be able to watch our Zoom broadcast.
This will be a charity event. There will be a cover charge of 5,000 won, and proceeds will go to both The Bail Project and Teach North Korean Refugees. There will also be a silent auction of merchandise from BETA and supporting Busan businesses.
The event takes place at 6 p.m.
