Test Your Skills at One of Busan’s Indoor Archery Ranges

Those looking to try one of the country’s leading summer Olympic medal sports, you may want to check out one of the local indoor archery ranges in Busan.

Archery has a proud tradition in the country as Korea has won the gold medal in all seven women’s team events at the Olympic Games, since it was introduced in 1988. They have also won four of the seven gold medals in the men’s team event.

Prices are usually based on sets — beginning at 20 arrows and prices rising depending on how many you want to shoot. Prices can vary by location, but usually start around 10,000 won for the 20.

If you want to test your skills indoors, here’s a few places around the city to check out:

Real Archery – Located across from Kyungsung University in the building where the McDonald’s is on the first floor, Real Archery is located on the 8th floor.

Getting there by subway: Line 2 – Kyungsung/Pukyoung University exit 5

Robin Hood The Archery Field: Head to the basement of the Hotel Foret in Nampodong.

Getting there by subway: Line 1 – Nampo Station exit 7

Winner Archery Cafe – In front of Pusan National University, head to the 8th floor of the building where Lotteria is located.

Getting there by subway: Line 1 – Pusan National University

All Ten Indoor Archery Field – A 5 minute walk from Deokcheon-dong Station.

Getting there by subway: Line 1 – Deokcheon Station exit 6

Ten Ten Indoor Archery Range – Located on Yeongdo Island.

Recurve Indoor Archery Field – Located in front of Pukyoung National University.
