BUSAN, South Korea — A recent study shows that the total number of traffic accidents involving the elderly, including those killed and those injured, has continually increased for the past three years in Busan.
According to Busan Branch of the Road Traffic Authority, Busan Jin-gu accounted for 11.9 percent of traffic accidents involving the elderly in this country. Haundaue-gu accounted for 10.4 percent, while Saha-gu accounted for 8.5 percent.
The largest number of traffic accidents happened between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Second was the time between 6 p.m. and 6 p.m., while the time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. followed.
