Two churches in Busan continue to ignore the non-face-to-face worship measures by quarantine authorities.
Between the two churches, nearly 1,500 people attended mass yesterday according to local media.
The first church, Busan West Church located in Saha-gu, about 500 people attended mass despite the fact that the church has faced six charges already in violation of the quarantine measures which state no face-to-face worship while at level 2.5 social distancing.
The other church in Gangseo-gu known as World Church had approximately 1,090 worshippers at yesterday’s service.
The church members had protested last week against the non-face-to-face measures with placards bearing the words “Worship is life”.
Both churches are again facing action from the district offices this week.
