Hyundai Foreign School (HFS), the only foreign school in Ulsan, has recently relocated to a new site at the Hanmaeum Center in Dong-Gu, Ulsan.

Established on September 10, 1982, HFS has catered to the educational needs of children from overseas and the local community in Ulsan for almost four decades and is now well-equipped to carry on its role as the hub of international education in the area.

The school is comprised of the Early Years Class (EYC), the Primary School and Middle School. The EYC admits children to Foundation Stage One (FS1) and Two (FS2). Children aged three and above are eligible to enroll in EYC FS1. FS2 (Reception) accepts children aged four and over. For the Primary School (Y1 to Y6), children aged five and above are eligible to attend and for the Middle School (Y7 through Y9), children aged 11 and above are eligible.

At the entirely renovated third floor of the Hanmaeum Center, where the school has relocated, students can enjoy learning in a student-friendly classroom environment as well as do PE lessons and after school activities in spacious indoor gymnasiums, outdoor futsal fields and indoor swimming pools.

As the only foreign school in Ulsan, the school aspires to continue to provide quality education for both foreign and eligible Korean students living in Ulsan and its environs.
