A dispute over priority access to docking spaces is creating another obstacle to the delayed redevelopment of the Suyeong Bay Yacht Marina.
The project has been delayed because 43 yachts have not left the marina.
City officials, the developer, and marina groups recently discussed ways to resolve the issue.
The developer gave priority access to docking spaces to 210 yachts that voluntarily left the marina earlier this year. However, a proposal to give the same rights to the remaining yachts has caused strong opposition from yacht operators who followed the relocation order.
Officials said an agreement is important because construction cannot begin until all yachts leave the marina.
