Zumbathon Party!!



The Zumbathon is a charity event for the Africa Yoga Project!

It’s an amazing opportunity to get out and have some fun AND help out an awesome charity. The time has never been better to socialise, exercise and donate to a great cause.

What’s happening?: Nine Zumba instructors from all over Korea will be leading you in 2 hours of fun, easy-to-follow Zumba dancing.Zumba is a latin-inspired, calorie-burning, dance fitness party that’s moving millions toward joy and health, and this event is an extra fun, bumper packed session.

Where?: Busan International High School.

Who?: ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome. No previous experience required.

How much? 10,000 won (5,000 Won for students) and raffle tickets available on the day to win some awesome prizes. 100% of the profits will support the Africa Yoga Project

Directions to Busan International High School:

Take Bus 1004, 17, or 179 to Gukje Baegyang Apartments

Students will be waiting at the bus stop to show you the way to Busan International High School.

From Busan Station: Take Bus 1004 in front of Busan Station to Gukje Baegyang Apartments

From Seomyeon: Take bus 17 or 1004 to Gukje Baegyang Apartments
You can catch the bus from two locations in Seomyeon.
1. In front of the Seomyeon H&M (Gukje Baegyang Apt. is the 6th stop)
2. Across the street from Lotte Department Store/Hotel
– From the Seomyeon Subway, follow the directions to Lotte Department Store
– Once you see Krispy Kreme, keep walking straight along the right side (you will see stairs on your right-hand side)
– Go up the left side of the staircase and the bus stop is straight ahead
– Gukje Baegyang Apt. is the 5th stop

Walking Directions from Gukje Baegyang Apartment Bus Stop to Busan International High School (students will be there to help you find the way):
Cross the big pedestrian bridge over the highway and you will see a 7-11.
Follow the smaller road on the corner of the 7-11 up the hill
Busan International High School dead ends at the top of the road (6 minute walk)


Callie Sorensen, a Zumba & Yoga instructor in Busan is going back to Kenya in 2014 as an Africa Yoga Project Ambassador. She is raising $15,000 for this awesome project! Come on out and shake it for a good cause!
