Korea Fall Foliage Guide 2026 — When and Where to See the Best Autumn Colors

The 31st Busan International Film Festival is underway, bringing 247 films from 59 countries to Busan from October 6–15, 2026.

This year’s festival opens with the world premiere of Kim Jong-kwan’s The Table: Day and Night, with Kim Minha hosting the opening ceremony.

Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh has been named BIFF’s Asian Filmmaker of the Year, while Yim Siwan will host the closing ceremony.
BIFF also enters a new chapter in 2026 after receiving official A-list festival recognition, further strengthening Busan’s position on the international film stage.
