The Korean Highways Corporation has announced its top 10 list of eateries along the nation’s highways.
This year’s winner was “Ginseng Galbitang” on the Tongyeong Expressway in Daejeon in the direction of Hanam, noted for adding ginseng to its broth to give it a fresh taste and smooth broth, which will set you back 10,000 won.
Second place went to the Osu rest stop in the Gwangyang direction on the Wonju Highway. Its “Imshil Cheese Teppan Bibimbap” was praised for adding Imshil cheese which is sprinkled over bulgogi and various herbs.
Third place went to Busan’s Banghyang rest area’s “Myungpoong Dakgyejang” or a spicy chicken soup on the Gyeongbu Expressway.
